Title: Green Lantern: UPDATE TRAILER IS LIVE.

So that looks really awesome. It looks campy... in a good way. The outerspace stuff looks great.

I think it looks awesome. He may not look or behave very true to Hal Jordan, but it looks like good fun.

The fanboys are throwing a hissy fit because he doesn't fit the traditional Hal Jordan. The traditional Hal Jordan is less goofy and more noble ala Superman.

But this looks fun.

It did look goofy.  Fans like their superheroes serious, like the Dark Knight rather than Adam West.  They can be young and down to Earth, like Spiderman.  Just don't turn them into jokes.  We'll see how the final product pans out.

I wasn't too big on it either but I've come to accept Deadpool's persona for its insanity and off-the-wall humour. :)

I like that Ryan Reynolds is juggling Marvel and DC characters! hehe

Cool! It should be fun, if anything. I try not to take superhero movies too seriously. That's why I really enjoyed Hellboy 2

I disliked both Hellboy movies -- the second more than the first. There were definitely parts that were good, but Guillermo del Toro is very poor at directing action sequences, especially when they involve CGI. He should stick to movies like Pan's Labyrinth.
