One of the coolest things ever (http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2010/11/price-of-price.html).
I love this. Watch the whole video, it's really cool. I'm a huge Gaiman fan, and even more so in recent months, so I heartily encourage everyone to lend this guy a hand. I'll be donating a few hundred shortly. It's already at 44% and could well see the light of day! If you've got a few bucks and you love Gaiman or that story in particular, take advantage of anticipated extra Christmas money and donate... I think it would feel awesome to know you helped bring something into existence and then get to watch it later.
12 days to go!

That's awesome and I will definitely be donating when I get my next check.

I'm seriously considering donating way too much money to this. I wonder how much I'll be getting from my retirement refund when I quit my job...
EDIT - I've actually emailed briefly with Christopher Salmon, he's a really cool guy. I sort of wanted to know a little more about him before I pledged any support, and he's really a genuine and nice guy.
Also, a nice little interview (http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2010/11/interview-with-christopher-salmon/).

Bump! Only 5 days to go, and it's at 64%! Come on dudes, lay out some cash for something awesome!

I did. I've been telling everyone I know that's a Gaiman fan to donate as well. I really hope it can hit the goal.

I don't have any money.

Woot, 99%!

Awesome, it ended up getting the funding it needed, hooray internet!

It did indeed. I did a little fundraising with the family for it, was pretty cool. Heather and Julia both donated as well. Looking forward to seeing production blogs and junk as it goes.

Can't believe I missed this.
I actually just got "Smoke and Mirrors" the other day. Been reading it like crazy when I have downtime at work.

It's a great book. I read it years ago and just reread it again a month or so ago.
