We've had 5X normal snow for December here.  15 degrees F below normal too.  NY (where my daughters are) got a blizzard yesterday, dumping 18" of snow.  Raleigh, NC (where a brother lives) got the first white Christmas on record.  Damn this global warming!

It wasn't and isn't bad here, but we had a consultant coming in from Boston tomorrow, and he's stuck until Thursday at the earliest.  Also our UK office had a pipe burst and water ended up in the server room.  Hopefully everything turns on tomorrow and doesn't explode or catch fire after that.

we had 5 days solid of rain here. It was heavy, constant and cold. I haven't seen rain like this in Los Angeles since El Nino.

Speaking of that... I don't want to offend Californians but sometimes I get the impression that God really does exist and his sole purpose for existing is to punish Californians.  Wildfires, earthquakes, serious droughts, ridiculous rain, mudslides...  It's like he wants to it to slide into the ocean.  I can't think of any place like it that has so much trouble with nature.  It's even worse when you consider the state of its government and budget and things like water rationing and rolling brownouts.

California only gets beat in the places with the highest population of douchebags.  Bay Area, nothing ever happens.  We got some rain.  Then it was sunny.  The end.

Weather has been ok here. It snowed, this week its supposed to warm up and rain (maybe even some thunderstorms. In December. Weird), and then cool back down.

The weather's been fine here as well. Actually not enough snow thus far. And no, I'm not going to blame global warming or whatever. The weather's always been unpredictable and "weird". I don't get where people get the idea that we somehow had predictable and "pleasant" weather in the past.

5 inches of snow, all on Christmas day. It was quite nice. And it was just powder on the roads until late at night, so it wasn't to bad driving. Everything was all beautiful and Christmasy.
