Hahaha what the fuck?
-
Hahaha....wow. I've played Angry Birds and enjoyed it in sort of a mindless pass-the-time sort of way, but that is a joke.
-
I really have no idea how to respond. So I'll just... not, I guess.
-
I've played Angry Birds, and just like Ghandi, I thought it was good to pass the time, or just muck about flinging birds out of a slingshot. I certainly wouldn't call it "Game of The Year" or particularly innovative. It recycles the physics damage ideas we saw in all the early physics demos since 2001 (including a UT2004 Karma Ragdoll mod that had you launch a ragdoll at things).

Outstanding innovation in gaming? Haven't there been other tower attack games? Though if I look at the other nominees...
I love Angry Birds... I think it is a bold thing to give it the GOTY award. It is a bit like the new Pac-Man i.e. a casual game that everyone plays. It has made gamers out of plenty of people.

Really, this is getting a bit ridiculous. (http://tv.ign.com/articles/114/1145251p1.html) They act like they found the universal key to entertainment or something.
-
What the fuck?
-
Well, you can't blame Rovio. It'd be stupid of them not to try to capitalize. I don't know who the fuck is actually making these offers though.

I lose a little more faith in society every day.
