Beyond Black Mesa (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOrH5tfWorg) a short indie fan film based in the Half Life universe. It's quite action packed and centers around a few resistance fighters struggling to get out a warning about the impending invasion.
The short film had 2 years in the making and was done for $1200. Pretty impressive considering the end result. Even Valve "favourited" the film on YouTube! Check it out, it's well worth the bandwidth!
