I stop by for the first time in years and you people are talking about the weather? Surely something interesting has happened since I left.
-
My army of robot monkey zombies is coming along. Thats about it, though.

It's not boring, it's pensive.

It's only boring in here when Ghandi isn't having some kind of drunken shenanigans with ham, which isn't too often, so it should liven up here any moment. You may also want to hide your ankles from him, he's a slut like that.
-
/me begins to drink, the thought of ankles only fueling his desire

Also, I think you have to dig a little deeper Antares if all you are finding is the weather thread. Have you even looked at the serious topics? Good stuff in gaming too.
I guess you have to realize that there are probably 25-30 regular posters max on here. Maybe a few more every now and then.
We don't come back because we expect something epic, we enjoy the company. It can get slow, but there are great threads interspersed that keep it going.

Hey Ant, how have you been man? You should check out the issues and suggestions board, you are needed in there. Don't trust Ghandi, he's a slut that never goes on IRC anymore.

No way.
My life is not meant to be interesting nor exciting.
-
Don't blame me. I was out in a place that has no internets.

Hmm... Well, I quit my old job in Arizona. I'm currently in South Georgia training for my new one, and will be moving to Salt Lake City, UT when I finish up here in April.
It's not boring, it's pensive.
Bullshark is back.... thats new!

That's actually why I stopped by. Que messaged me on FB a while back, but I haven't heard anything recently so I thought I'd check in.
Also, I never trusted Ghandi.

Arizona: I'm in love with northern Arizona. The whole place is full of old Indian ruins, wide open sky, and beautiful terrain. I could spend years exploring the area. Plus, Flagstaff has an awesome coffee shop called Macy's. Best mocha ever, man.
Georgia: Some really bad times and some really good times. Savannah is beautiful in a lot of ways. I remember it stinking though. Columbus is mostly a pit of despair. The red clay of Georgia will ruin your clothes if you so much as look at it. The bugs are ridiculous. I always thought the place had an otherworldly vibe to it, the bugs, the terrain, the forests, the people...it's all alien.
Utah: Never been outside of southern Utah but everything I love about Northern Arizona applies to Southern Utah except the land is even more beautiful. Easily some of the prettiest country in the world out there. If I could spend years exploring northern Arizona, I could spend a lifetime exploring Utah.

Northern Arizona is simply amazing. I went to Flagstaff for a Triathlon over a long weekend and never wanted to leave. Unfortunately I was stuck in the completely opposite sweltering wasteland of
Northern Mexico Southern Arizona.
I haven't even been to Utah yet, but I hear awesome things about it, aside from the fact that its rife with Mormons.
The bugs aren't bad here this time of year, but I have a feeling things are about to get otherworldly here pretty soon, although I'll luckily be escaping before the worst of the summer heat hits. I'd never been to the south before, its definitely an interesting experience. I can't get enough of the food or the girls with southern accents. The rednecks, pervasive swamps and paper mill stench I could do without. I went up to Savanna for the first time last weekend with the girl I've been dating, it is an awesome town. I can't wait to spend more time there. As an aside, there seemed to be beautiful women everywhere, and for some reason everyone was dressed up. I don't quite know why.
-
Yeah from what I've seen of southern Arizona I don't think I'd want to go back any time soon. The thing about northern Arizona and Utah is there is just so much natural beauty and so much to explore. If one is into outdoor stuff, it's the perfect region for a road trip.
As for the south, the biggest thing I miss is the sweet tea. Real sweet tea, not this crap we get west of the Mississippi that you have to pour packets of sugar into. I mean real southern sweet tea. Goes great with hush puppies, catfish, and grits! Hoooooweee!
-
I tried grits. I was not impressed.

With butter, sugar, or plain?

With butter, sugar, or plain?
I read that originally as butter, sugar, or PALIN
ugh.
