My main question is like... is there anything making this worth a re-purchase?  I know I won't be getting it because I picked up DR2 and it's now part of my backlog, but I wonder what the real hefty additions will be, if any.

Well the Frank has a camera so all the awesome taking photos thing is back and since I never did get the first game I'll probably end up with this at some point.

Dead Rising, the only game I almost abandoned because of a single, solitary control quirk, the stick double-tap to roll.  Never mind that joysticks put out constantly changing values, or that movement with a short-throw thumbstick often involves modulating your directional input.  That could never pose a problem could it?  *Sigh*

Does this crap make a comeback in the sequel?
