Have a debate on the game... go nuts.
Oh, and I got a call from the newspaper saying the first article (transformers review) was a success and they sent me a check. Thanks for the hits etc. :)

Nice article, but man I just don't understand the Angry Birds craze. I don't find it very fun at all.

It's a decent time kill, though I like the Crush the Castle 2 Flash game better. I deleted all the AB games though since they started asking for permissions to get your location. I don't mind giving that to products where such permission provides a nice feature. But a game? No way.
Pug, nice article. I like how you wrote it as an anecdote. How does using imagery from the game work in journalism? Rovio owns the rights. Do you have to ask them for permission to use the images?

I commented. It's "awaiting moderation". I liked the family anecdote also. It gives the article a warm touch.

I hate Angry Birds.

I got an e-mail from the editor of the paper. He says he is a comic book geek, likes my work, and wants to do an article on why Pakistan doesn't have graphic novels and comic book heroes etc., and wants me to do that. Pretty cool. Very excited.
Idol, say that on the article page as well. :p
Guys, thanks. I shared the anecdote (which is actually real) because I know the paper's readers aren't familiar with gaming like us... so I just wanted it to be easier for them to read I suppose.
Scottws, I have no idea. The editors handle it all. I don't upload... I just submit her the article and if they like it, they use it. It is an interesting question though... didn't think of it.
Yea, the anecdote flowed better, but it was edited a bit I guess. Also, the website formatting sorta messes up the quotes.
