Title: Gemini Rue
Post by: idolminds on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, 09:58:21 PM
Official site (http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/gemini-rue.html)

A point and click adventure that seems to be freaking awesome. I grabbed the demo and just ran through it and loved it. You sort of play as two characters though the demo is primarily one of them, a detective looking for a guy. Its a gritty Blade Runner-ish future setting. Just try the demo, seriously. Its worth it.

Looks like you can only buy it direct for $15. Seems totally worth it. I'm going to have to buy the full game.

I would fucking swear I posted about this months ago, but nothing comes up on a search but this thread. That's weird as hell. Maybe I just posted in IRC?

Yea I watched the Giantbomb quicklook of this and it looked awesome. The voice work sounded pretty decent too.

This isn't specifically related to Gemini Rue, but I just stumbled across something cool.

GR is made with the Adventure Game Studio. They recently released the source code for AGS. And already the first non-PC port of the engine is complete...for the PSP (http://wololo.net/downloads/index.php/download/927). So you could actually use the GR game files and play the game on your PSP. How awesome is that?
