Dear Steve Jobs,
So, I guess an Apple a day didn’t keep the doctor away?
Sincerely, open the Windows for fresh air next time.

In gaming, everything is amazing but no one is happy. (http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2011/09/gaming-everything-is-amazing-and-no-one-is-happy.ars)
Not sure what to make of the article as a whole, I agree with some points but still feel defensive and reserved about others.

That was alright. My problem with it is that such dichotomies seldom include the same people on both sides at the same time, though he makes it seem that they do, as if each one of us were schizo. Those who demand their games come out on Steam are not the same as those who hate Steam as intrusive DRM. I do confess to loving and hating the same game sometimes.
I think my angst comes from a fear that we will lose what makes games great to ever more powerful business entities and their agendas. But I have no doubt the better games are the best they've ever been.

Yeah, such is the curse of generalization :D
That was my issue with it too, I guess I took it personally, hehe "What?! I don't do that!"
I have similar fears that the greatest parts of gaming will be overshadowed by the corporate bullcrap.

That article couldn't be anymore closer to how I feel. He speaks truth.
