Blog post (http://blog.netflix.com/2011/09/explanation-and-some-reflections.html)
Short version: Netflix is hard separating DVDs by mail and streaming. Netflix brand name will be the streaming service, and a new brand of Qwikster will handle DVDs by mail. This new Qwikster will also start offering game rentals for a fee similar to the bluray fee.

Not sure why they did the Facebook comment response on that article. It's just going to be people bitching in an overly dramatic way.
Anyway, I'm not a console gamer, but isn't that announcement huge? Is it the same pricing structure as movies? $8 to rent any game you want to is huge. I'd never really buy games again if I was a console-er, save for some multiplayer ones.

Nope, nevermind. (http://blog.netflix.com/2011/10/dvds-will-be-staying-at-netflixcom.html)
They really need to get the kinks out of their decision making process.

Hilarious.

Sweet, that's good news. I actually still get DVDs from them. They do have some good stuff on steaming, but there's also a lot they don't have.

Woopsie daisy! Haha! Nevermind! We're backpedaling as fast as we can. (Fire that dumbass who thought of this!)

WTF, make up your mind!
I wonder if they are still going to add games or not then.

Lol - strangest thing ever.

What idiots. I wonder what the next boneheaded move is that Netflix has up their sleeve. They are putting together an impressive string of them.
It's kind of sad. Netflix is a company that got where they are because they spread via word-of-mouth from happy customers. They seem determined to eliminate whatever customer mindshare they have left, though I can't imagine why they would do that.

What a stupid name that would have been. I almost wonder if someone hacked in that message.
