Title: Only On PSN to offer PS2 games to download

But the interesting bit is this:

Also starting tomorrow as part of Only On PSN, we’ll also be offering a selection of rare classic games in the PlayStation Store: God Hand, GrimGrimoire, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, Odin Sphere and Ring of Red.
So I guess they got their software PS2 emulator going, because I doubt they would go through the trouble of actually porting those.

Just looked, $21.99 from an amazon seller, or $40 from Amazon themselves.

Perhaps they could release the emulator to download to your PS3 allowing you to use the collection you already have? Even if it was just for specific games it would be something.

Post by: Xessive on Wednesday, October 05, 2011, 07:50:36 AM: I suspect they'll do it just like the PS1 games: each game comes within a self-contained emulator that runs the game and manages its options. Essentially each game looks like an individual PSN downloadable.
