Trailer:
- Level cap raised to 90
- New class: Monk
- New race: Pandarens
- PvE Scenarios
- Pet Battle System (Pokemon!)
- New Talents
- New continent
- Challenge Mode Dungeons
Some more info on a few of those...
PvE Scenarios:
Sort of like 2-3 man instances, not tank/healer required.
Pet Battle System:
This is literally Pokemon, within WoW. It sounds like it's using the non combat pets. You collect them, catch them in the wild, and make a team of 3 to fight with. There are pet collectors (gym trainers) to battle throughout the world, and you can battle other players.
New Talents:
Talent trees are GONE. You'll choose a spec at level 10, then you automatically get all your base skills and some associated with your spec, as you level. Starting at level 15, and once every 15 levels after that (30, 45, 60, 75, 90) you get presented with 3 skills, and you choose 1. You can apparently change which skill choices you've made quite easily, similar to changing out glyphs. For example, Rogues at level 90 get to choose one of the following: Killing Spree, Shadow Dance, or Vendetta.

Holy shit those are some significant changes. Regardless though, I don't think I will ever play this game again.

Pet Battle sounds interesting, but like ippi I dont think Ill play this again. Too many expansions to buy just to do so.
-
No talents ?! What the hellz.
I don't think I'll ever play again either. But these are pretty crazy.
Wonder if subs are still dropping. Haven't heard anything in a while.

Pandas!
-
Well it's out. Who is playing?
-
Guild Wars 2 ain't nuthin' to fuk with!
-
I'm playing. I'd rather be on GW2 though.
The first zone is a zergfest of fighting for quest mobs and objectives, made worse by bugs and bad design. (Let's make a quest where you have to sit in a gyro-copter in first person view and aim with your mouse. That won't be a problem with 200 other gyro-copters in your view, right?) People are inconsiderate and will use ranged attacks to tag a mob as you run toward it. I already lost a few mining nodes to people who stole them as I fought the mobs for them. I was just in a battleground with people yelling at someont to go back to GW2, that they were a failure, should delete their character, and that they're not welcome. (this person did not mention GW2 by the way, the people yelling at him just assumed he played it) In general the people on WoW are massive assholes compared to what I've gotten used to in Guild Wars 2.

I don't have the expansion so I don't know what the new zones are like but they must be a mess with everyone jumping over there at the same time. Yikes.
But I do get pet battles even without the expansion, and so far those are pretty cool. Not the most in-depth thing in the world but I think its a fun activity that isn't fucking raids or dailies. I'm enjoying them.

It is somewhat surprising to me that there are still people interested in this game.
