CVG - Rumors flying already that Just Cause 3 possibly is set for 2012 release. (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/323961/just-cause-3-set-for-2012-rumour/)

Nope, not coming in 2012. They got two games in the works for 2013. (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-10-27-avalanche-scotches-just-cause-3-rumour)

Eurogamer + Digital Foundry -> Face-Off b/t PC, XB1, and PS4 versions on performance issues + graphics quality. (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-just-cause-3-face-off)
In short (somewhat):
PC:
Best option of the 3 (PC, XB1, PS4).
Graphics settings don't look too much different (b/t Medium, High, Very High) - so you can get away with a bit with a decent rig if you have to throw settings down b/t those 3 to get better performance.
A decent rig (i5 + some modern vid-card) should handle PC versions of JC3 fine, but you might have odd issue here + there if you're using all Non-AMD stuff.
AMD CPU's + GPU users will have the most issues for sure - i.e. they often have stutters and other extra weirdness, NVidia doesn't.
Having a SSD will help quite a bit with the load times.
Console versions:
Console versions need more patching - they have framerate and performance issues galore; and long-load times.
PS4 is currently the better option (over the XB1), if you have to have it on a console.

No one has to have a broken game on any console. One more confirmation that preordering is a dumb thing to do in the current state of the game industry.
I was interested in this too. It promised to be so much fun. Maybe they'll fix it yet, but I won't wait around for it. There are too many other games that actually work right.
