Title: Terraria dedicated OW server

So I just started playing this game and it's a blast with some people to play with. An OW server would be fun if enough people have the game and dig it. We could build a fort and fight monsters and fight evil and what have you.

So I guess I'm just trying to see who actually has the game and wants to play online.

I have it but I need to learn how to do anything besides smacking slimes.

Yeah there's a lot more to the game than smacking slimes. :)

I'm going to try and host a server tomorrow (or if anyone that knows what they are doing wants to, let me know! :D )

I wanted a dedicated server back when we were playing months ago.  It never materialized though.  But I'd certainly jump in occasionally.  In fact I haven't played any of the recent updates.

Yeah, I haven't played it even once in a good while. There's tons of new shit. I've missed at least 2 major updates, maybe more. I thought a dedicated server would be fun too but never got around to doing one. Think there was some technical mishap preventing me from doing so, I forget.

So I've been trying to get one going and it's not working - me and a few others have been using Hamachi as a fallback. I dunno what technical mishaps you had Que but I don't know what I'm doing wrong on my end. I tried both port forwarding (7777) and using a dedicated ip.

I was able to get one set up when we were playing it on launch with no issues and no one had to use Hamachi.  I can try giving you a hand tonight or tomorrow, just shoot me a PM with some more info and maybe I can help.
