Title: Scoop
Post by: Xessive on Wednesday, November 22, 2006, 03:10:30 PM
Anyone else see this one?

I just watched it. Scarlett Johansen is great. Holy shit Woody Allen is annoying. I don't know about anyone else, but I find him completely obnoxious.

He is good at directing, but yes he can be annoying, even in real life.

Geez man, with all his "I truly mean that" and "I love you, I really do" and "I say this with all due respect" and "you're a wonderful human being" and "you're a credit to your race." Holy shit man shut the fuck up with all that insincere bullshit! And what the heck is "you're a credit to your race?" The human race? Then shouldn't it be "you're a credit to our race?" God, I really wanted to snap his neck!

I hope he's not like that in real life!

Anyone know what the third movie in the planned "London Trilogy" will be from Woody Allen?

We got Match Point and Scoop, so what's number 3?

His next project is still untitled, but it's expect to show in Summer 2007. It could be his 3rd London strike..

I remember him at the Oscars. They brought him up to honor him and he wasted 30 minutes that they had been trying to conserve all night, by pushing the actual winners off the stage in less than a minute. Him, they gave 30 minutes where he made stupid bullshit jokes, and everyone tried to politely laugh. I can't really remember what he said, except it was pretentious and stupid.

I finally saw this one. A pretty funny movie, good movie. Entertaining.

I liked Ian McShane (from DeadWood) as the dead reporter.

And to add to all this, the scenes on the boat w/ Death were hilarious.

I was mildly interested in this.  Never saw Match Point, but that one looked friggin' hot.  That vile woman has to be stopped before she corrupts me any further.
