Title: Totally awesome Quake 1 map to play

No, I don't know why its called that. You start off in a deserted village that clearly has a poisoned well. In the basement of the church you go in search of the source of the poisoning. Don't want to spoil it, but look at that screenshot. The levels are quite large and detailed, just totally awesome to run around in.

That site has a couple recommended engines (http://www.quaddicted.com/quake/recommended_engines) to play it in. I used Quakespasm. I do like the unfiltered texture look. They also have Quake Injector (http://www.quaddicted.com/tools/quake_injector) which will download the maps and dependencies and stuff and automatically install them for you.

So yeah, awesome maps. Play them.

Would be a good excuse to finally bust out Dark Places that I haven't tried yet...
