Jay or Que. Am I a douche?
-
No, your wedding was awesome.
Also I'm sure this video is hilarious if the ad didn't crash my browser for some reason.
-
I actually didn't get it. That wedding sounded way better than most of the weddings I've been to. Most weddings are the same stupid shit, and I universally hate them. Do something fun and different.
So maybe you're a douche according to the Onion, Sy, but I still look at your wedding as one of the most enjoyable gatherings I've ever attended.

Weddings, including activities leading up to them, in essence are douchey events. That's not to say that people getting married are douches, it's just weddings usually entail some level of douchebaggery. "It's your wedding, you can be a douche if you want to!"
-
Not necessarily. Here's how our wedding went down:
Ceremony: 10 minutes, no extra ceremonial bullshit like the candle lighting or any of that. Goal was to get done as quickly as possible to get people into the reception
Reception: Get a fun DJ, load the place with booze, it's a celebration bitches!

I was at a wedding party dance lesson/choreography lesson the other night. Yeah, dance intro. Fuck you, childhood friend.
-
hahaha very true... aside from the biking... the wedding sounded pretty good. I don't get it either. I thought I was part of a douche couple for thinking this couple wasn't a douche.
-
I guess it has to do with the ridiculous demands and expectations they set on their guests, like "Oh, they're an insufferable couple!"
Meh, whatever it was mildly entertaining. I love The Onion :)
