A few of us hit up thrift stores. This is a thread where we post and brag about our finds.
Today's haul 11/4
Brooks Brothers polo - $5
2 Brooks Brothers neckties - $3
North Face pants with zip-off legs - $5
2 pairs baby pants - $3
LeapFrog Learn & Groove Musical Table - $4
Scary and I have been talking. We both agree our wardrobes have gotten 100 times better since we started hitting thrift stores. There's no way I'd ever spend 75 bucks on a tie, but I'll sure as hell pay $1.50 for it.

My last big find was a Nintendo DS Lite (pink) in perfect shape, no scratches on the case or screens. Came in a padded case, 6 DS games (mostly the Ubisoft "Imagine" series...ugh), a GBA copy of Mario Advance, wall and car chargers, 5 extra styluses, headphones, and some game cases that can hold 4 carts each.
$3 for the whole thing. Even the person that was bagging up my stuff was like "Who priced this? You got a steal." so I'm sure someone got bitched out over it.
I also got a Nordstrom merino wool polo shirt for $3.

When you say "thrift store", are you talking about something like going to Goodwill?
-
Yeah. Actually Im going to a Goodwill a little later today. Hope I find something.

Correct. I suppose you could also include flea markets in this thread too, as I've found some steals there in the past few months.

Yeah, I've found some real steals, and I doubt I've spent more than $30. Paul Stewart, Brooks Brothers, Zegna, J. Crew. All really good stuff, nothing wrong with it at all.
This pretty much sums up my feelings about thrifting...
