- Can't go back in time to prevent it
- Can't bring the fucker back from the dead to torture him to death by cutting off small body parts for months
- Can't prevent the next one by gun laws or jawing endlessly about it

Conclusion:  I don't want to talk about it, ever.

I need to find an addon so I can click "Like" on Cobras post.

I absolutely love the idea of a "like" button for OWNet.
And I agree w/ Cobra's post.

This whole thing....is sad, sickening, depressing, and entirely screwed-up. :(
Prayers to those who are no longer w/ us that have to be in a much better place than this horrible world;
and prayers to all those families, friends, and loved ones of those who unfortunately are no longer w/ us.

I can't imagine the horror all of those people must be going through. :(

I'm with Cobra, except I'm more bitter and annoyed by tragedy at this point. I've honestly just stopped giving a shit. It's terrible for sure, I just really don't care.

I'm very concerned about what put this man in a position to do this.  Could something have been done to prevent it?  Were there red flags that were missed (or worse yet, ignored)?

I think the media attention of these events is a significant part of the fuel, especially when it seems so random rather than getting back at people like at Columbine.  People can get into a pretty dark hole.  They are completely aware of the notoriety they will gain by pulling off a stunt like this, sort of like a "Try and ignore me now!" situation.

I agree with Scott.
