I didn't get into PC gaming at all until 2001 or 2002 and Dungeon Siege was the first new release I bought (or Jedi Outcast?).  Everything before that was catching up on HL and Grim Fandango, or whatever.  Anyways, I really got into gaming for a while at that time (gaming and drinking and squash and pond hockey.  Basically anything but school and thinking about the future) and I have really fond memories of looking up Dungeon Siege on the internet and getting really excited.  I think I also bought my Geforce 3 ti200 specifically to make sure it would run awesome.

So, this news kinda makes me sad, but at the same time I haven't really touched any of their games since.

Oh, and that was about the same time I started talking to all of you fools.

I watched that recent interview in which Taylor essentially melts down due to his frustration with the failing Kickstarter. Honestly, it was tough to watch. I'm glad he and whatever remains of his team have landed some place for the time being.
