Wow, this should be interesting. I expected something like this to happen before long, but not quite like this.

I think the real question is - how much $ are they actually spending on developing these games?
I mean - Hitman: Ab, Tomb Raider, and Sleeping Dogs sounds to us like they sold well... (http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/tomb_raider/news/tomb_raider_hitman_and_sleeping_dogs_sell_millions_but_fail_to_meet_targets.html)
...but, how much are they spending on making these things?
Are they expecting blockbuster COD or AC figures?

There's some confusion about that, apparently. The projected sales for the first month were 3.4 million units. But the actual number may be something like 1.5 mil. That wouldn't change your point though, which I agree with completely. If any number of millions in a month is not enough, they are doing something wrong.

Holy shit. What the fuck? This seems to be happening a ton and it's a really bad sign in general. Especially at the end of a generation when development costs should be a fair amount cheaper.

The success of one product is probably far from enough to help that company.

Well, didn't FFXIII; FFXIII-2; and FFIV Online bomb really badly?
