Why a Dreamworks animator left film for a game about a medieval mouse (http://www.theverge.com/2013/4/9/4202574/ghost-of-a-tale-game-from-dreamworks-animator)
Ghost of a Tale is a third-person action-adventure game set in a lush, but dark 3D world. It stars a tiny mouse in a medieval land filled with animals, and though smaller in scale, it's inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda, Dark Souls, and Ico. You can see hints of the fantasy novel series Redwall and movies like The Dark Crystal and The Secret of Nimh. It's also being made by just one person — Lionel Gallat, who previously spent more than a decade working on animated films like Flushed Away and Despicable Me.
An ambitious undertaking to say the least but it's got my interest! :D

Indiegogo had extended the campaign an extra week so it could hopefully meet its goal. It was a slow crawl to get there but now with less than 2 days left they got there! Really happy about that.

It does look really neat, but I just can't justify 20 euros for a copy. Glad to hear that it made its goal, though.
