Perhaps they will give Desura a....second life?  :troll:

But seriously, it could be a good thing. Desura doesn't seem to have much of a push behind it to make it a better place to buy from, and the client hasn't been updated in a long time. Linden Lab owner on another forum said they are putting more staff and resources behind it. And before anyone asks, ModDB is still a separate deal.

Woah, I hope it only means great things for Desura. I play a lot of Indie titles on there.

Definitely hope this doesn't get fucked up. I still like Desura. It still works better and faster than Steam for me, which is important as my PC dies a slow death.
