Looks like we'll be returning to Outland, or what Outland originally was, Draenor. Level cap increased to 100, modifiable garrisons, lots of PvP stuff, and finally NEW CHARACTER MODELS!

ZOMG WOW

For some reason I recently checked out the armory and looked up a few names of people I used to raid and pvp with. They are still playing! I'm actually surprised by that. I haven't played WoW since 2009.

Warlords of Draenor successfully captures the nostalgia of the WoW launch back in 2004:

Haha yea, it's going to happen. I just got kicked off. Im sure blizzard could invest in the resources needed to make a smooth launch for an expansion, but would the investment be worth it? Nope. To deal with servers being stressed over their limits for a few days then not happening again till the next one, it's just an efficiency of cost.

Eurogamer -> Blizzard confirms that WOW got slapped w/ DDOS issues (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-11-14-blizzard-confirms-world-of-warcraft-ddos-attacks)

I've heard that Blizzard gets hit with DDOS attempts like every week if not every day.

Man this expansion flip flopped so hard. It started off great then Blizz dropped a bomb recently that this latest content patch is basically the last one. They literally wrapped up the main quest line with this raid. So they gave us 3 raids compared to Mist of Pandaria's 5, plus all the added content patches MoP had and everyone paid more for it.
I know the state of MMOs have gone pretty stale for a while now, but if they really are going to go through with higher priced expansions with less content, they may actually lose their grip on their audience to keep up a subscription based MMO. I certainly don't see myself continuing to sub much longer.

No wonder I prefer playing offline SP campaigns on my own accord.
