I'm guilty of #1.  Mainly because that is us right now.

I look at it as "good" debt.  We're at least making strides toward owning something, and the student loans are low-interest.  At the very least they can't repo my two degrees.

Hmm.  1 is the only one that doesn't seem like his personal sour grapes.  And 1 is the only way most people will get ahead in the long run.

Some of those are clever or insightful, but after reading a few, I got this mad-at-my-world vibe out of the whole thing.  I can't see the comments because I never bothered to unblock scripts on that page.  But that consensus doesn't surprise me, really.  Heh.
