A little while ago IGN reported that their sources told them that The Last Guardian had been officially canceled.

Now we got a tweet from Scott Rohde who is the "PlayStation Software Product Development Head for Sony Worldwide Studios America"

Woo! Fingers crossed, then! Maybe they're switching up to PS4? I fucking hope not, though, since I don't have plans to get one.

I completely forgot about this game.  Team Ico might have complete missed a 7 year console generation.

lol, yup. The game was announced February 2007 in Famitsu, 3 months after the Playstation 3 launched.
