Title: The Fall

It was on Kickstarter last year. I finally got my hands on it and I was pleasantly surprised with it. I was expecting something like The Swapper but believe me the similarities are only in the visual style. The Fall is more story driven.

If you're into MetroidVania style platformers, it's definitely worth checking out.

I watched the trailer before reading your post, and that was the first thing I thought of too: The Swapper. But yea, it looks closer to Shadow Complex, but with more going on (puzzle/investigation). Looks really good.
