Dammit, I missed that. I was going to watch it, but I had to put out some fires on my mom's new email setup. Contacts weren't accessible as an address book (after moving the data from her old PC). Damned Outlook is a pita.
Several games there are on my must-get list:
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Far Cry 4
GTA V Remaster (when cheaper)
Glad to see Shadow of Mordor get a nod. It's well deserved.

@Cobra
I watched it last night in full on Steam - and it was quite terrible, TBH.
A lot of awards weren't even shown, but might've been mentioned.
A lot of World Premieres, advertisements, and other nonsense.
It was little better than some of Geoff's past shows w/ Spike, though - if that's even saying much.
Honestly - you're best off just watching the trailers + stuff from the Polygon site.
Best stuff from the show's there, anyways - without any in-between garbage + BS.
-
Thanks for that. I was looking for the show when I got distracted by other stuff on Youtube. I guess I'll just try to find a good synopsis. Polygon sounds like the place to start.
-
Also it was on kinda late and then ended up being like 4 hours long. Feel glad you missed it.

I find myself so out of touch when people's names are mentioned like they are somebody and I have no idea who they are. I have never heard of Geoff Keighley.

Geoff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoff_Keighley) has done the hosting of the Spike TV Video Games Awards forever.
And he's known for DoritosGate, as well.

He was also the guy behind GameTrailers.com until they moved under a different ownership.
