I'd have beaten Dupree with a bat till he was gone.

That looked like one of those movies that's supposed to be funny with how aggravating the guy is, but ends up just pissing you off because you want to shank him after ten minutes.

You know back when blissfully quirky movies and characters were fun? It was all refreshingly unformulatic at first.
This movie came off as a formulatic attempt at being unformulatic...

Yeah, the trailer was enough for me. Actually, more than enough.
-
It was meh.. A lot of the events in the movie require you to heavily suspend your disbelief i.e. a newly married couple would take a friend in to live with them, oh yes they surely would.
-
I liked it.
Owen stole the show, basically.

I'm with you. I thought the movie looked absolutely stupid.
-
Good to know... saves me wasting several hours.

Word. I think you should have known better Pug, that movie had crap written all over it from the start.
-
Unfortunately I never saw the trailer. I just read "Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller", and I was thinking "How can this possibly go wrong?".

Ben Stiller in You Me and Dupree? Are you talking about Starsky and Hutch or A Night At The Museum?

Whoops I meant Matt Dillon. I normally really like the movies he is in.
But yea Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson together means awesomeness. Unless it is You me and Dupree 2.

Haha they'd probably call "You Me and Dupree Too"
I kinda miss Ben Stiller.. That's why I'm a little anxious about A Night At The Museum.
