Post by: Xessive on Saturday, May 09, 2015, 11:00:21 PM
Has anyone seen this?

Seems like the all-in-one solution.

Won't Sony have something to say about that?  Apple won a case against Samsung on shape and look of their phone.

Huh, interesting. I went and looked at a couple (http://ausdroid.net/2014/07/11/retro-gaming-with-the-jxd-s7800b-android-powered-console/) reviews (http://www.trustedreviews.com/jxd-s700b-android-gaming-tablet-review) and it sounds promising. Also saw a couple youtube videos about it. I've been wanting an android device and this seems kinda cool, though I wonder if it might be better to get an actual tablet and then pair a bluetooth controller with it. Not sure.

From a portability perspective this kind of tablet certainly has a place in the market. I personally prefer the separate controller solution since independent controllers are usually more ergonomic though they're not quite as portable.

The JXD looks like a solid alternative to the Nvidia Shield Portable.
