Title: Wind farm wallpaper

More messing with Inkscape. I still suck, but I'm starting to suck less.

I took inspiration from several places. My current wallpaper made me want to make something similar so I loaded Inkscape and started messing around. At some point I went to a web site that spits out color combos based on a color of your choosing. I played with the sliders till it came to something nice and started throwing those into the wallpaper. A few adjustments to the "land" layout, also changed the colors some more, figured out how to make the sun rays correctly, and then I wanted a windmill. Well...windmills are hard, but wind turbines aren't! Lets put a bunch of them in! Wind farm!

Nice!  Reminds me of Merced where my grandfolks are.  There's tons of these on the way down there.

I remember seeing a bunch of those when I drove from Phoenix to L.A. for a concert.

I remember when my Uncle drove us from Manteca to San Fran, we passed through a valley with tons of them, pretty cool.

I see those about once a month when I drive down to LA to see my family... well, see as in go by because I'm often going through that area in the dead of night.

Cool work, Idol. I like.
