gonna go on the T-Shirts the student society is selling... well... hopefully. I submitted it anyway. But the other choices are here (http://www.sfu.ca/~crim003/survey/logosurvey.html). Mine isn't there because I submitted it late.

Are you guys studiying to be snipers or something? Every one of the logos, including yours, had crosshairs as a major theme except the first on the linked page.
In any case, nice job on the logo.

I like the first one more. I don't like the shade of blue, not that the second one is bad... far from it. I just like the first one more... the maple leaf looks better red. :)

Maybe if the C was blue,, make the leaf and rest of the text red? Dunno.

If the C goes blue, then the outline gets lost. You'd need to use a lighter shade of blue. Or change the outline to a different colour.
It's very easy to change the colours on that logo, so when I show it to them I'll bring my laptop and we can play around with it

Interestingly, the only reason mine has a crosshair was because it was the element of all the logos which everyone liked, so I built it around that. It was more catering to what the rest of the student society wanted.
I think mine executes it better than the others, but I'm biased. The crosshair has a role in the logo, as opposed to being more or less just tacked on.

Btw, a word of advice for everyone voting: Don't vote by directly following the link. Open another browser window and then go to the url. This way, if there's a chance that they are checking referral logs, it won't lead back to this forum. ;)
