Title: It just occured to me
Post by: angrykeebler on Wednesday, May 02, 2007, 08:40:39 AM
That ever since I've started working here that I haven't used a bit of my insurance. Its like its going to waste. Haven't gone to the doctor, dentist or eye doctor for a check-up. I could get a new pair of glasses each year and I haven't. I keep putting it off or forgetting about it and now its been 2 years.

Doh?

Doh indeed. I'd love new glasses every year.

I avoid doctors and dentists at all costs.  Hate them.  I go to the dentist periodically just because one really has to, but doctors?  Never.

Where do you work?  I'm just wondering because I have pretty much the same benefits.

Oh, nevermind.  No, I don't.  I have Humana.  But I work for a (the?) major eyeglass company in the United States.  We get free frames and lenses (no spending limit) on our anniversaries, and 50% every other time (30% regular sunglasses).

That's a pretty good deal. I wear contacts and generally get a new shipment every 6 - 9 months, and it's fairly expensive.
