I went back.
:( :( :(
-
At least it keeps you off the streets.
-
yeah.. i am trying to get over my addiction of hookers and blow
-
WEAK!
-
Mostly, i went back because I missed my WoW friends. I am leveling slowly.. my warrior is almost 69. I probably will do minimal raiding when i hit 70.
-
I actually started playing Warcraft III again to get my Warcraft fix. It is working well. I haven't touched WoW in like.. a week. But I have been TFTing a lot.
-
I stopped playing for about a month half way though March. Then I started playing again around the beginning of May, and I played for about a week. I haven't played in about 3 weeks. I just kind of fell out of it. I'm not going to have time to play anyway next month, as I start school. Hell, I barely get enough free time now with work, and family keeping my occupied.
-
You are not alone keeb. I'm still playing this game.
-
I caved a couple days ago. I logged on and fiddled with my low level warrior I made a while back and before I knew it I was questing for hours on end.
-
Heh,
I got my netherdrake for my mage last week. I should be getting his first piece of gladiator gear today.
I've started leveling my priest to 70, but it's going a little slow right now.
I barely ever play my low level toons at the moment.
-
I have the expansion pack but due to PC issues the install became damaged and I my WoW discs are scratched... but to buy new ones really doesn't cost that much.... and it's a shame I never really got a chance to play... no NO I mustn't think this! :o
-
My warrior is 70 and now keyed for Karazhan. Going to be running that with my guild tonight. They are already on Mag and most don't need loot from there anymore so anything cool drops, its mine!
I got my flying mount but I only have about 1k g left. Long way to go for my epic flying...

You can download the entire WoW and BC clients from the website, provided you have an account set up.

ah Jesus I bought WoW (it was really cheap)....
-
Well, you have to buy retail anyway. If you already have an account all set up with a retail key, you can just download the client after that. You cant simply download and pay the monthly fee (otherwise no one would buy the box).
-
Question: I bought the original game retail but downloaded BC for the 10-day free thing. If I buy another month, will I have to purchase BC retail or am I good to go?
-
You gotta buy BC unless you plan on staying in Azeroth and 60.
-
Blizz made it easier to get, too. In your accounts page you can just have them charge your credit card $40 and you can download the thing. Or since you already had it downloaded for the trial, you just give them money and you can play.
I went through and...man, I'd have a ton of patching to do to get caught up again. I hate how a lot of the little in-between patches were server only, so I cant download them. I'm trying to see how much I'd have to download and its impossible to go from what I have to the latest version.

Or if you rolled Draenai or Blood Elf too I think.
-
You guys have such high levels. If I ever decide to start this game, I'll be so lonely. :(
-
I have two low level toons, though they are leveling slowly at a crawl. I think I might level my priest to 70 for now.
-
I'll probably ride the next Blizzard MMO wave.
-
Pug if you do decide to start playing hit me up, I'm on the verge of getting back into it but I haven't quite broken yet.
-
Well it took nearly a full hour to install WoW again, then I moved onto the expension pack... then I spent an hour downloading the latest updates.... then the login server was down! hahaha ah its the good old days again!
-
Funny thing. Postman just dropped off two free trials for Burning Crusade on my doorstep (one addressed to Aimee, one to me). It requires the original game to use, but Aimee and I both had the game at one point... what's strange is that I don't think we updated our address with them when we moved and this isn't forwarded. So, I don't know what's up.
But yeah, maybe you'll get a disk Idol (or maybe I can send you one if you want).
-
huh, that might be cool. Hopefully I get one. I do want to at least try the 10 day trial (My druid can go to the outlands, and I can explore the new starting areas)
*EDIT*
Turns out I don't really have that much updating to do. I found the directory where I kept my WoW patches and I have everything to get nearly up to date: 2.0.3. Then a small 5MB update to 2.0.12, then the recent 256MB Black Temple patch and I'm pretty much there.
*EDIT 2*
I'm downloading the updates and looking at the addon sites. You know, "Just to be up to date whenever I do decide to play again."
This is not good...
-
I picked up BC today. It came with two 10 day trials, we could really hook you up Idol.
Anyway, I just checked out Outland... and wow. You'd think by now the game would stop looking good and it is showing its age, but damn. I won't say anything for those who haven't got it yet, just be prepared for a visual treat.
-
Damn it to hell. You need to stop making me want to play. I have no moneys.
-
If I get that trial DVD in the mail I might go with the trial. No way am I downloading all that stuff. The patches are bad enough.
Of course if I fall into it again...damnit, thats like $60 for BC and a game card.
-
Ugh. Guess what I just got in the mail? haha
-
haha
-
Well, you guys are going to have to do this without me. There are still way too many things on my plate that I want to do (even aside from minis).
-
Even if I do it wouldn't be for a good while yet, I think. I've got way too much else to play that I'm in the middle of and I just can't justify it.
-
Oh. My. God.
I'm exploring the Draenai capital city, hell I didn't even know they added additional capital cities. It is the most visual eye candy, no, visual eye crack you will experience. It is more gorgeous than Darnassus (I'm not exaggerating in the slightest), I would post pics but I'm just going to torture you some more. Damn... if only this place was more centralized, I'd make it my soulstone point, fuck, I think I will anyway. Man... and I haven't even seen the blood elves city yet.
-
Curse you. Curse you forever.
-
Quit tempting Que you dicks, he still needs to finish FFXII and Odin Sphere. Stay away from this thread Que!
-
I'm having enough trouble just pulling away from Dawn of Mana even though I've finished it already. I keep going back to play all the extra stuff. So many games!
-
I want to hold out until I upgrade my PC. I had a lot of HD thrashing because I only have 512MB of RAM, and I should be playing WoW with more. When I upgrade and can play everything nice and smooth...that would be awesome.
-
I think of all the BC zones, Netherstorm is probably the coolest. There are these huge, huge, HUGE mana batteries that look badass and there are frickin bio-domes! Also, this is the zone where you need a flying mount to get to the zone instances (Tempest Keep) and its cool because the instances are just these immense flying fortresses. I will take some screenies tonight and post'em
-
Netherstorm is definitely an interesting place. Zangarmarsh and Blade's Edge are pretty cool too. I think Blade's Edge looks the coolest, but too bad I hate the zone since the quests there suck.
-
yeah, i caved with the 10 day BC offer. i hadn't played in about a year, but my new housemate is a WoW addict, and we thought it would be fun to roll new characters and work through the quests together. i think we've communicated more via keyboard tappings in WoW than we have in real life over the past week - which is a little creepy.
