i never got the chance to play ikaruga before, but heard nothing but great things about it (mainly from you guys). res though, yes. i've got it on dreamcast, but a HD version of this game will be so sweet.

Best Ikaruga moment was having everyone play it at OWMeet and dieing a million times, they going to youtube and watching some guy beat a level with perfect chains and no deaths. The room was filled with phrases such as "No way." "No fucking way." "WTF HOW?" "Thats impossible." etc.

If I was there I woulda shown you how it was done... partially. I can successfully chain the first 2 levels fairly cleanly, and it starts going downhill from there.

I have Ikaruga and I don't even know what a "chain" is.
As for Rez, I'm pretty excited about that. I've really wanted to play for well... ever.

Well that's cool, too bad I don't have a 360, I might be able to talk a friend into downloading both of them because I've mentioned both of them to him before and he seemed interested.

And what idol failed to mention is that the video was actually of one guy playing BOTH ships in a two player game... by himself. It even had his hands on the controls onscreen to prove it.

Ikaruga! I'll definitely dl it whenever I get my xbox back. I used to love playing that game when I had the DC.
