Title: Quake II homebrew released for DS
Post by: Cobra951 on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, 10:57:39 AM
The story. (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/12/quake-ii-homebrew-released-for-ds/)  I know some of you have DS flash carts.  This requires "RAM expansion" in the cart, though, so I don't know if you can run it.  I'd definitely give it a go, if I had the hardware.  Quake II is one of my favorite games of all time.

Yeah, I can't run it. I'd have to buy an EZ 3-in-1 card (which is only $20, and then I could mess with GBA homebrew...so it might be worth investing in).

I did try out the Quake 1 and Doom ports, and those are both pretty sweet.

I couldn't do it either, but that's okay.  I play it often enough on my PC.  Still pretty darn cool.

Do any of you guys have slot-2 cards?
