Hope you're having a good day. I'm thankful for our little group we got going here. Stay awesome.

Always thankful for you guys too. Hope you are all enjoying a good, worry-free day with family today. I've got a boatload of food to cook to bring to my sister's later. Should be nice.

Happy Thanksgiving, all! Had a small gathering here at home, just 5 of us. Pretty low key this year. Good company, good times. That includes you.
-
Happy Thanksgiving to the Native Americans too.

Yeah, that shit is awful. What a world.

The silence on mainstream media and among politicians is deafening.

Nothing's sacred anymore. Then again, it wasn't sacred to you.

People's right to clean water and to not have their cultural heritage—whatever culture it may be—steamrolled for the sake of corporate greed should be sacred to everyone.
But let's keep it in serious topics. This thread should be for things we're thankful for, not the many things we aren't.

A little late to the party, but I'll echo Idol's sentiments. You guys are an integral part to my day-to-day existence and I am thankful for that.

It occasionally blows my mind how long we've been together. You guys have been my close friends through so much life stuff, and it's crazy to think that right now Pug and I even have a professional relationship (if a small one) all this time after AOG. Such a crazy world. For all the bad stuff the world throws our way, makes me real glad to know we've held together. Hopefully we can keep doing so for a long time to come. I value all of you, truly.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
I stayed in NYC, went to a pre-fixe dinner with some friends... it was delicious! I passed out around 9 PM because I was so full.

I am happy to be back in Canada again for all the obvious reasons. But perhaps the biggest ones is that I have managed to strengthen my connection with you guys because we are all in the same time zones. I am really enjoying this community, especially on Quakenet.
I apologize for being a downer. I'll keep that stuff to the serious thread. After spending years in a part of a world where most if not all religious and cultural observances are self-serving and drenched in hypocrisy, I don't see the point of observing many of these traditions. I'll not be a downer though, especially in General Discussion.

I am trying to figure out what you meant, but I can't.
