Title: Happy New Year, everybody!

Been a crazy year, and not an entirely pleasant one, but there's been a lot of good too. Despite the prospects of 2017 being rather dark, I'm looking forward to my own life, if nothing else. Hope you guys all have something pleasant to do tonight. I'm going to go watch a movie with my sister's family for a little while.

Good riddance to 2016, the latter half in particular.  It's been horrible, with Sandy having a lot of trouble with a knee replacement she got in June, and my mom having her own knee ordeal for the past season.  She can at least go up and down stairs now, but at her age, a knee replacement is out of the question.  Then there's the political/culture war, second in divisiveness only to brother fighting brother in the Civil War. 

May 2017 leave it in the dust.
