As much as Ajit Pai has been public enemy number 1 as far as I'm concerned for his actions surrounding net neutrality, I have to give him some credit with his and the FCC's response regarding the Sinclair Broadcast Corporation's attempt to acquire Tribune Media. It looks like they are making moves to scuttle the deal.

Sinclair has some pretty concerning practices with regards to things it makes their affiliates run on-air, and if Sinclair was able to purchase Tribune Media, they would own most of the local television stations in the country and therefore allow for indoctrination of even more viewers with far-right propaganda.
