New burn treatment. Unreal.
« on: Sunday, February 06, 2011, 09:32:51 AM »
Somebody came up with a way to spray stem cells on a burn injury, healing the skin in days.  The result is amazing.  There is minimal scar tissue.

Oh yeah, that's right.  Lots of people on dvice.com were complaining about that.  I think it's only viewable from a U.S. IP address.

It's high time I sign up for a VPN. This is happening way too often.

They show before pictures of his hand and forearm, then say "And this is what it looked like after!" while showing his shoulder and upper arm.  Pretty stupid video.  Still, cool to see something like that.  What Pyro said is pretty much the first thing I thought, too, haha.

Wow.  That does look like something out of sci-fi.  The result is hard to distinguish from normal skin until it's shown close enough to see the differences in color.

I know what you are saying when they do the comparison; however, you do see his right hand and forarm when he is pointing out where he was burned on his head an neck.  1:25 - 1:32.  It looks just as good as the rest of his burn areas from what I can tell.

Yeah, I wasn't really trying to say anything about the results or the validity of this, just seemed like somebody didn't think too hard on the final edit for the video.
