American Pie 5: The Naked Mile @ IMDb

Da fuck?! They're still making American Pie movies???

As far as I'm concerned it all ended with American Wedding.

There was a fourth one?

1 & 2 were okay for what they were.  Then American Wedding came out and I thought it had a completely different feel than all the others.  Stifler in particular seemed like a whole different character. American Wedding sucked big ass donkey balls.

Yes, they are still making them.

American Pie Presents The Naked Mile will deal w/ Erik, the youngest of the Stifler boys.

There was a fourth one?
Right. W/out Jason Biggs and w/out Alyssa Hannigan.

American Pie Presents Band Camp was AP4, w/ Stiffler's lil' bro, Matt.

It was most definitely not as good as AP1 and 3. It's a lil' below par w/ AP2, if you ask me -- which I felt AP2 was the weakest of the AP movies.

I like AP1 and AP3.

AP2 was a rehash or AP2, for the gags and jokes, mostly.

There are so many reasons you and I get along, and there always seem to be more.  I'm completely with you on this one.

Actually, while I normally don't really care about this kind of stuff much, I was actually pretty offended when we went to see a movie and they had this huge like 10 minute ad/fake "behind the scenes" thing before the movie during the pre-movie ad crap they've got everywhere now... and it was really, really gratuitous.  The movie we were seeing (it escapes me now) wasn't some big rated R thing either, and there were some kids in the audience.  It made me sick that they could show as much horrible crap as they did in that theater.  That really upset me.

I gotta agree with you there. Showing unnecessarily gratuitous scenes automatically takes away any respect I have for a movie/show. Whether its excessive sex or violence, in my mind it just makes a cheaper, cheesier attempt at grabbing attention.. It's usually just cheap shock value. Now on the moral side of things, "teen" movies seem to be exhibiting way too much nudity, and I don't like it.. Even when I was a teen I thought it was stupid.

I saw this movie. I was hoping AP5 would not suck. It was funnier than I expected. Story was okay. Thankfully, this one was better than Band Camp and American Pie 2.

Even though it fits, I just wasn't too thrilled w/ the "Hollywood ending."

Still, the Original AP and American Wedding are the best of the 5, if you ask me.

"Hollywood ending"?  How can you even give these movies enough credit to make a comment like that?  These are all shit content from start to finish.

The movie was leaning towards a certain direction throughout the flick....

Though it copped out, as I figured it might do, at the very last second and took a "Hollywood ending"....
