So I saw the Desolation of Smaug the other night. I liked it over the first, it still doesnt have that same magic LotR has, but I guess the argument for that is that The Hobbit has a different feel and flow than LotR, which I agree with. Still though, the first did feel like it was more drawn out than it should have been. This felt less so, at least the last half of the movie was really good, the highlight being Smaug the dragon. Peter Jackson still does good at building up with each movie and I was wanting to watch An Unexpected Journey again after it was over. Hope more of you check it out.
