Audioslave - Revelations
« on: Monday, September 11, 2006, 08:27:43 AM »
Ok.  I think I changed my mind.  If you read what I wrote about it over on TME, I wasn't to impressed with it at first.  It's still not anything near their first album, but damn I'm really liking some of the songs.  Wide awake and Nothing Left to say but Goodbye are awesome songs.

Not to mention it's kicked my interest in Soundgarden back up.  I can't stop playing "Mind Riot" off Badmotorfinger.

Has anybody checked it out yet?

No, but I plan to.  Like you, I'm a big Chris Cornell fan.

I didn't like it at first but it's really frown on me. Pretty much every song is awesome except for Original Fire, which I can't stand. Shape of things to come is my most listened to so far.

I can't stand that song "Somedays."  The second I hear it start playing it sends pure hatred surging through my body.  The album is pretty good, but after giving their selftitled another solid listen, I can't help but be disappointed still.  That first album was too perfect.

After trying to listen to songs on Revelations many times, I decided I'm not really a big fan of this album.  Audioslave and Out of Exile were just much better albums overall.
