Hey all, remember me?
I just got back from a Halloween party that I had the opportunity to "cover", ie. I was the dedicated photographer and videographer (original was just video but the photographer bailed out on the last minute so I had to do both). This is one of the largest parties in Toronto over the weekend; attendance was close to 3k apparently this year. Without going into the particular details here's the good and the bad:
Good:
A lot of good pics and some great video memories
Lots of girls who were into me...
Great crowd in general
Bad:
A bunch of shitty pics cause the place was way too crowded and dark to get anything decent at times
People getting drunk and being idiots
Clubs = equipment smelling for weeks
Oh and the funniest thing, while I was taking pics or doing video, I got asked for dances, kissed, and touched in a variety of ways by girls trying to get my attention. One girl started kissing me and tried to get my phone number. Yes, I was a *hit* in a way. So what's wrong with this picture? I didn't go for it, I just ignored it. I don't know, I just get so focused on work, that I forget to have a good time.
So yeah, something to be proud of I guess, I did a supposedly good job with covering the event, but something's still missing. Yeah, it's called personal gratification...
Idol, don't worry, I'll put up pics.
