Yeah it's definitely WASD. Or at least that's what I've always heard it called.

I think you're trying too hard, to be honest.  www.pugnatious.com and be done with it!

I don't want the website name to associate with my online persona. You are right, I am making this harder than it should be. I just want a simple, unpretentious name. :)

moustick.com?

Or stickmouse.com haha this is hopeless.

Mouseandstick sounds.. sexual.  Like, maybe I am just dirty(and I certainly am), or maybe I just have been tricked into clicking too many porn sites by all of my friends (and I certainly have), but it just sounds off.

I like www.player1start.com

I like it as well, but I think Beo wants to register it. Besides it is a touch retro. I want something simple like it though.

I liked gametribunal.com but it sounds too serious and sorta pretentious. HI I KNOW TEH EVERYTHING!

armchaircritics? but then it sounds like another furniture place :P

I think technically WASD is more "correct".  WADs call to mind the old Doom file standard.

Yea for some reason wads sounds dirty to me. I am not sure why.

Guybrush Threepwood: Do you know anything about lifting curses?
Murray: Oh, right. I know a lot about lifting curses. That's why I'm a disembodied talking skull sitting on top of a spike in the middle of a swamp.
Guybrush Threepwood: You seem bitter.
Murray: I'm sorry. It's been a rough day.

Ahhh...good stuff.

It isn't that funny, but for some reason I still find it to be hilarious. Those were some great games with plenty of heart. I should start on Psychonauts.

Going from the other thread, www.themindpeel.com is available. Idol's suggestion. What do you guys think? Too many words?

Also what about www.gametribunal.com ?? It is available. I like it, but it is a bit too long and serious sounding.

 :o

I feel like I've stepped into the twilight zone, or one of those dreams where you run in slow motion and get nowhere.  OK, jokes aren't funny after they're explained, but if they were never funny or understood to begin with, who cares.

I UNDERSTAND that WASD is the typical term.  I used a DIFFERENT way of spelling out the FPS keys to make up a word for a site name, because WASD is in no way a natural letter progression in English.  I thought of "mousewads" as a play on words, an anagram of sorts, which fit in with the names that were being tossed out at the time.

That is all.

Maybe I wasn't being clear before. We don't take kindly to you people around these parts...

Bottom line: use WASD. Or else...

haha, nice shot.

You know, I'm really surprised the politically correct media ain't had a real field deal w/ Crysis and calling it "racist," after the media went after:
--GTA: Vice City for the "Haitian gang killing" missions
--Res Evil 4 had lots of Mexican zombies as enemies to take on
--Res Evil 5 will have lots of blacks as zombies to take on
--Uncharted has a lot of black enemies to kill (as Yahtzee points out in his review)

Frankly, I don't like any of them all that much except for PixelNut, but that sounds more like a graphics/art site than a game site.

Seriously, no better way to identify yourself than your name.  Just go with that.  It isn't like you're building the next great web portal with hundreds of links and articles, right?  It's just a place for you to call home.  Don't overthink it.  Just pick something you happen to like personally and be done with it.

i voted for pixelnut, but that was before i saw idol's suggestion of dpadwarriors.com. i think that's easily the best suggestion so far - possibly a bit too consoley for you though, pug.
