That would make this his first real project since he sort of came into C&C really late.  Be interesting to see what he brings to it, though I really have no interest in the game at all.

Games journalism died for me the day he left.

It looks like a 3rd person Modern Warfare-esque with Uncharted/Gear of War cover system with shifting environments based on sand?  From the trailer (one of the few, if not the only one that showed gameplay), the gunplay looks very boring.

It's kinda cool that they're reviving the Spec-Ops franchise. Although it looks like they're setting aside some of the tactics and realism to draw in a bigger crowd.
