Here, I'll be the unpopular person:  What is so bad about Nickelback?  They are certainly generic, but there are far worse bands.  Like The White Stripes, Sum 41, All American Rejects, or every metal band ever.

I vehemently disagree that we should argue about this.  Arguing points that each party is steadfast on is a waste of time.  How can you not understand that?  That said, I simply don't understand how it isn't painfully obvious how terrible The White Stripes are.

The way I was taught in college was to italicize the titles of long works, such as novels, and use quotation marks on the titles of short works, like short stories.  So for my teachers to like me, I would have to write "The Tell-Tale Heart" and The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket when submitting a paper about Poe.  Of course, now the internet has everything you could ever want to know about anything.  No exception here.

More to the point, I have no clue about Nickleback or the noises they record.  If I've heard them, I didn't know it.  The moderation here, er, is there any?  I know Ant didn't like us linking torrent sites.

Sorry for the necro-bump, but this was too funny to not share. Dude coming up with D&D monsters:

The Nickelback: The four headed minor deity has no direct attack and does no damage.  It incorporates itself into dungeons by melding with the physical structure of rock or metal and then vibrates for 3 minute intervals creating “Songs”.  It should be noted that it is not actually composed of rock or metal.  Every 3 minutes there is a 2 second pause and then the Nickelback creates a new “song” which sounds exactly like every other “song” it’s ever created. Can drive dungeon inhabitants into a frenzy of rage and pain, causing even docile cretures to attack the party on site.
