This was definitely one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. After I saw Hot Fuzz I went straight home and rewatched Shaun of the Dead, and though Hot Fuzz had more "funny" scenes, Shaun of the Dead's ridiculous zombie scenes and gore were pretty good too. Overall I consider the two equally good.

I need to find/invent a way to have movies piped directly into my brain while I'm sleeping or something.  I am so far behind on all the movies I want to see it isn't even funny.

I prefer Shaun, but I really hate buddy cop movies, so most of the jokes were lost on me. Having said that, I still saw it twice, so maybe that's a testament to it being the better movie from an objective point of view.
