I'd either be a banana or some kinda citrus fruit. Maybe a kiwi. A leechy maybe? no. Probably a citrus fruit, like a lemon maybe.

I'd be a dragon fruit

It looks cool, and on the inside it's like an albino kiwi

really tasty.

If I were a fruit, and went into a coma, I'd become a vegetable. Ok George Carlin's version is a lot funnier.

Where does one obtain dragon fruit? I don't think I've ever seen it. I like to frequent those gourmet/up scale kind of grocery stores. It's kind of my thing. If I see a little fresh food market, I have to stop. Thats where all the best stuff is. But I've never seen a Dragon Fruit. I'd like to try one.

yes, it means something.

Dragon fruit is from a cactus.  We have some in our garden.  Try asian markets, african stores.  I think they're quite popular in brazil too?

I like the white ones but i don't like the ones that are red inside.

Sobe also makes a Dragonfruit drink, granted its more sugar/water than anything else, but it is close to the flavor of the fruit which I have tried from a local grocery store in Austin.

I really like dragonfruit... I had my first taste of it about a year ago... I make special trips to chinatown just to get some from this really nice dude who always has good ones.

1. shock

Mr. Banana has a semi-soft cover that hardly gives any protection.  He's soft all throughout, with a million little quirks.  A natural softie.

2. Xessive

Mr. Banana/or a Mr. Citrus aka lemon/ or a Mr. Lychee sounds confused but he would still make a wonderful smoothie.  A lemony mess sour, clean, disorganized and puzzling to those who don't know you.  Lychee - hard cover, squishy sweet inside and finally a hard core.  You're not one to take kindly to the world.  You're prone to thoughtfulness yet, you would much rather not own up to it.  You can seem flighty, but there's a staunchness to your character that will see you through the mush.

3. Idolminds

Mr. Orange - sweet simplicity, comforting, constant, and ready but not always willing. You make a loyal friend, protective yet tart.  Don't mess with oranges though, they look quite harmless but if they have to squirt they'll aim for your eyes. Once in a while, oranges are deceiving - wonderfully plump and inviting but horribly bad and dried up.

4. Kams

Mr. dragon fruit has a lot of deceiving protective gear.  The strong name, the quirky appearance and coloring is repulsing yet enticing. The scales can seem hard and sharp but most times, the scales are soft and pliable. The fiery top kinda says "don't get too near or else". The blustery appearance keeps the non-adventurous away.  For those that get past the outer covering, some find the inside to be a little odd yet sweet.  Some just can't handle you.. too strange.. too foreign.. Quite unique and hard to take but you need to be taken for who you are, you don't like disguises.

5. Ghandhi

Mr Tomato.. deceiving, plump, squishy, tart, sweet, sensitive and very neutral.  Tomato blends in with many things very easily but can stand alone.  The tomato can be put anywhere and almost everywhere.  You like to be part of things, people tend to take you for granted cause you can be so easy going.  Sometimes you can be overlooked cause you're so constant. But when you're taken away or mushed it leaves a hole.

6. ScaryTooth

Mr. Apple... you're not to be messed with. You're crunchy and hard all throughout.  Handled differently you go squishy soft.  You like to adapt but you don't like to get buried.

7. Que

Mr. Mangosteen, forboding and very protective.  You need to be picked at the correct time or things go totally wrong.  Quite a number of people are scared to try the mangosteen because they look so hard and difficult.  The outer shell, thick and resilient protects a softer nature that most people will never see.  You've gone and weathered many storms, and as  you age, the shell hardens more... But the core stays the same.. soft, sweet, and milky.  If not cared for properly, you go black, rotten, sour and foul-smelling.

8. Dr. Sbaitso

Mr. Coconut.. you're such a nut.  Lol, talk about protective but with good intention.  The inside just spills out and makes everything sticky.  You like to be unreachable, but you're clamored for.. You're very protective cause once people get past your THICK shell, that's it.. you're forever lost.

arggh i'm tired now :(  *sigh*

haha that was awesome!

edit:

BTW if we are talking favorite fruits mine are pineapple or rambutans. But I dislike canned pineapples, however freshly cut ones kick ass. They almost have this spicy taste.

What's scary is that a number of those seem a lot more accurate than I'd have expected in terms of describing people.  Mine is a little close to home.  I'm shifting nervously in my chair.

Haha. Raisa has uncovered the truth about que! But yeah, most of these things are usually pretty stupid. This one is quite interesting. I wonder if I would have changed my answer if I knew that it would be one of these.
